Hi, I acquired (2) old Mutoh IP530 pen plotters from about 1990 or so. Iplan on using 3 of the stepper motors and one of the drive boards for aCNC router table. I need to somehow eliminate the on-board plotter CPU.is there a way I can wire the drive board directly to my parallel porton my computer without going through the CPU board? if so, I cancontrol the motors with off-the-shelf CNC software. We recently installed a new print head on our Mutoh Valujet 1304 and I think the tech shorted out the network port on the motherboard (nothing I can prove). I can get it to print test prints but it will not communicate with my computer so I cant send files to it to print using the original motherboard. Luckily I had a spare board and I am running at the moment but if I can get this one repaired I can get a 2nd printer running which I desperately need. How much to take a look at it and repair it if possible to fix?— Purchase or Repair:
