I was recently having my Mutoh printer transported when it tipped over in the truck and it slammed down directly on the ink cartridge slot assembly. The ink cartridges were jammed into the machine breaking all the slot mechanisms and snapping off the plastic ink ports at the couplers feeding the metal ink tubes.
