Ive never worked on the Spectra Physics, But I have worked on PRC and FANUC types of laser that come with Amada machines.One of my customers with the same machine as what you have. Next month I have a training class with Rofin to fix up their laser. I bought this instrument new around 2000. I stopped using it about 10 years ago because the range was too low. If I remember correctly I was told that this was because a diode or something was weak. Other than that, the laser should be in good condition. Can it be reworked or does it make economic sense?
