I have some questions about the wiring diagram. I am using my takagi tk1s for experimental purposes and was wondering if I could modify the amount of natural gas it uses and also modify the way it fires on start up. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!!β‘οΈ Reply Takagi
WE HAVE A TM-1. HERES WHAT HAPPENS-BLOWER TURNS ON, THEN A 2ND BLOWER. IGNITER SPARKS, BUT WE HAVE NO FLAME. TAKAGI SAYS GAS VALVE(S) ARE OPENING (TECH SAID HE COULD HEAR IT OVER THE PHONE) BUT I DONT THINK THEY ARE. TECH SAID TO CHECK INCOMING GAS PRESSURE. GAS COMPANY CHECKED, MAINTAINING A STEADY 8 WC. GREEN LIGHT ON, LOWER RED LIGHT FLASHING, ERROR CODE 111. ANY SUGGESTIONS? UNIT IS ABOUT 3 YEARS OLD.THANKS FOR ANY HELP.β‘οΈ Reply Takagi

My Takamine Electric Acoustic with the Takamine ACCUR Acoustic EQ has about half the volume it should. Battery is good, maybe one of those things in there lost there value and needs to be changed. Is it possible to repair? If so can I just send the onboard unit with out the guitar and pickup? Your reply will be appreciated.Thanksβ‘οΈ Reply Takamine
I have a 2001 graph ex pre-amp and recently the volume pot has been giving me problems. Ive tried cleaning it but it is so sealed up that it is hard to get any spray in there. I even drilled a small hole in the plastic housing and got the same result. I think if I replace it, my problem will be solved. I hate to spend $200+ for an entire replacement, when I can just solder on a new knob. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanksβ‘οΈ Reply Takamine
I have a EG330C with what is, I believe, a bad preamp. It uses the N4B preamp with the RCA plug input and a 3.5MM output. There is no output from the unit. Have switched the 9v and the batt test light does come on. Is there a way to test this? Can it be repaired? I realize that it could be the pickup and dont know haw to determine the issue.Any assistance appreciated.thanks - Richβ‘οΈ Reply Takamine
I am not receiving low end power when plugged into my amp. I get plenty of highs and after talking to someone from Tak they suggested it being the preamp assembly. So, I am looking for a replacement pickup assembly for my Tak fp360sc. If you have these in stock could you please send me a price.β‘οΈ Reply Takamine
I have a EG544SC-4C with a TK40 preamp that Does not operate properly. It will play through an amp when in the tuner mode, which it is not supose to, but with the tuner turned off its only static or nothing at all. I have removed it from the guitar and there is no visible exterior damage.I would like to know if it can be repaired and how much it woul cost.Thank you.β‘οΈ Reply Takamine
This preamp was missing a pickup that plugged in behind the preamp with a RCA jack. It did however contain with it a 1/8th inch male to 1/4 inch female pigtail for the guitars input. I was curious as to where I might be able to find a wiring diagram for this and another Takamine Pre-amp I am currently working on. Its a Graph-EQ Pre-amp. It has a battery with an LED switch for batt check, a volume control, three band graphic equalizer and an extra fourth slider called an exciter. The other has in place of the exciter a volume gain slider and no knob at all. It seems as though the two units are not working correctly and I believe that it is due to somebody working on them prior to my obtaining them who didnt know what they were doing. A diagram is a must in this situation and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.β‘οΈ Reply Takamine
