Leroi Dresser Service & Repair Forum

I recently purchased a 1978 Ford 7000 equpped with a road striping unit. It has a Leroi Dresser Compressor. It also has a hydraulic system driven by a Perkins diesel engine that drives both the hydraulics and the compressor. It starts up with no problem and will pump air up to 160 lbs, psi and then pops off the pressure relief mounted on the tank. I have no idea what is wrong and who can service this in the upstate Albany, New York area. I would also like to know if there is a manual, parts list. etc that I could obtain. I have a 1988 Leroi Serial # 3120x112Model # A219-89 I have a question?If your compressor is low on oil will that preventit from starting. The fuel is not getting to the injectorsthe fuel filter is full but its not getting to the motor.What could the problem be. Can u help me. Thanks Dave.
