Leroi Dresser Service & Repair Forum

I recently purchased a 1978 Ford 7000 equpped with a road striping unit. It has a Leroi Dresser Compressor. It also has a hydraulic system driven by a Perkins diesel engine that drives both the hydraulics and the compressor. It starts up with no problem and will pump air up to 160 lbs, psi and then pops off the pressure relief mounted on the tank. I have no idea what is wrong and who can service this in the upstate Albany, New York area. I would also like to know if there is a manual, parts list. etc that I could obtain. i have a 1978 160 gas compressor with a 4 cyl. international. the drive coupling wore out & cost too much to replace. replaced muffler ,hasn\'t been run since. if interested call262 657 4662
