Dear Sir! Sorry for the wrong e-mail address! This one is correct.The following problem has been occuring quite often on one of our machines for some weeks. One Socapel SAM-drive (SAM-DA-400-14N-P1N-D) stops the whole machine and displays \'7\' and \'F\' characters on its 7-segment display. At this time the PAM-controller (PAM-S1N-L4E-AP V10000)displays \'0780F020\' but the SIEMENS S5-115U PLC has no fault. This problem with the SAM can be reset by the PAM or restarting the PLC. According to the PAM-SAM Troubleshooting Guide fault code \'F\' means \'Main CPU fault (fault handler)\'. Which CPU does this refer to, SAM, PAM or PLC? What else can cause this problem and what we can do, before replacing something? Unfortunately, we do not have any software tools for checking the PAM-SAM system, only for the CPU. With have a problem wiht the sam, tha alar is 2t, corresponding in the manual a problem with the temperature in the motor, but also say wit is posible tha sam is bad. I change the unit and program and continue with the sim error, what is your oppinion, thanks
