Takamine Service & Repair Forum

I have a EG544SC-4C with a TK40 preamp that Does not operate properly. It will play through an amp when in the tuner mode, which it is not supose to, but with the tuner turned off its only static or nothing at all. I have removed it from the guitar and there is no visible exterior damage.I would like to know if it can be repaired and how much it woul cost.Thank you.

I am not receiving low end power when plugged into my amp. I get plenty of highs and after talking to someone from Tak they suggested it being the preamp assembly. So, I am looking for a replacement pickup assembly for my Tak fp360sc. If you have these in stock could you please send me a price.

I have a Takamine EG530 C with a TK4 N preamp pop out of the guitar hit the floor and the case is broken. Now I do not know if the preamp works?

This preamp was missing a pickup that plugged in behind the preamp with a RCA jack. It did however contain with it a 1/8th inch male to 1/4 inch female pigtail for the guitars input. I have a 2001 graph ex pre-amp and recently the volume pot has been giving me problems. I\'ve tried cleaning it but it is so sealed up that it is hard to get any spray in there. I even drilled a small hole in the plastic housing and got the same result. I think if I replace it, my problem will be so...

I have a EG330C with what is, I believe, a bad preamp. It uses the N4B preamp with the RCA plug input and a 3.5MM output. There is no output from the unit.
