Hi~I am director of a 175 unit condo association. The condo was outfitted in 1983 with Chloride Pyrotector smoke alarms. These units are now almost 28 years old and we are concerned they may be too old to be reliable even though the self-test buttons seems to work.My question - in your opinion, are these units past their service life? I looked through the service manual but could not tell their expected life and cannot find Chloride Inc contacts anywhere. If you can help with any info, please email me or call. Thanks for your consideration.Aloha,Tom McLaughlinDirector, Hale Kaheka AOAO808-294-3370
