We installed our Rittenhouse intercom system in 1978 when we built our new home. The speakers look out of date and would like a better main unit. We have 4 outside units, and 7 speakers.Can we purchase new units and still use the same wiring? Would appreciate a response ASAP. Thanks Jim MannP.S. I would like to get an estimate on testing and repairing any needed parts of our antique ( assuming it is antique,) doorbell. I love the way it sounds, from manually striking the chimes, but doesn\'t seem to work...

I AM A ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR AND HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT NUTONE WILL WORK USING EXISTING WIRING THE PROBLEM IS NUTONE WILL NOT WARRANTY IF YOU DO NOT USE NUTONE WIRE, BUT THEY DO HAVE A 30 DAY RETURN POLICY TRY THE SYSTEM IF IT DOES NOT WORK TAKE IT BACK ASAP

My Rittenhouse door chime\'s top plunger does not work, the previous homeowner said when he was hooking it up, by accident the top soleniod was getting power all the time and over heated and it has not worked right since... can this be fixed ????

Was working well until I sanded and painted the kitchen. I took the chimes down to paint, put them back and nothing works. I get voltage coming in but it doesn\'t move anything.

I TOOK THE CLOCK TO A ANTIQUE DEALER HE TOOK THE MOTOR OUT AND REPLACED IT WITH A BATTERY UNIT. I AM LOOKING TO REPLACE IT BACK WITH THE ORIGINAL MOTOR.
