Hello, I work for a car manufacturing plant and on a small conveyor system I have been tasked with replacing a DC Heenan VH201 drive system with an Inverter (VFD) control system. I have very little knowledge regarding the current system and I am wondering if anyone would be able to provide me details of a suitable replacement. I want to know if it is as simple as removing the DC Heenan drive and morning the current motor to a frame and then connecting the current three phase supply to the current 1.5kW motor and then inputting certain parameters that the Heenan system would have facilitated such as:

* start up acceleration and time
* stop deceleration and time
* Overload settings
* load running frequency

Would anyone be able to help with this ?
