We bought an EDM ELOX-AMERITRON here in PERU and planned to start working with it, but at the moment we pressed \"ON\" to start it, the sceen shows \"insert disk\" and doesn´t work.We would appreciate if you could advice us on how to fix this problem, if need, we would be willing to buy the programming disk required for this machine.Machine ELOX-AMERITRON Cabinet Futura II 50 A N° Serial= F II 50 A- 001025 B.M. We have an ELOX J series wire edm that we need to set the parameters for wire tension and flush control.We had to replace a circuit board and tried to reload the parameters via tape too floppy but with no sucess.Is there a way to load these manually?

Jose,it appears that the battery on the motherboard has gone bad. This meansthat the CMOS has to be reprogrammed so that there is no floppy driveand not to seek floppy drive at startup. Also there are other things thatneed change in the CMOS.
