Buying a condo with an inoperative Rittenhouse Model 7021 intercom system. Was constructed in late 70s. Is the technology so out of date that it is not worth restoring? Should I consider restoring the unit, about how much am I looking at? Is there a dealer here in AR, or do I have to ship it to you in North Carolina? I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
