Tag on door chime unit says:Model 8846RVolt 16Rittenhouse Division Spartan ElectricFayetteville NC 28386The unit has four tubes, it has a circuit board with integrated circuits. The transformer is putting out 18.5 volts, although the unit says 16 volts on transformer and circuit board. I assume the board has gone bad. I like the unit, I am wondering if a replacement board is available or can you fix the current one. Another alternative I would like to explore, if another brand unit can be used.

I have the above mentioned door chime (Rittenhouse door chime model C8536) that does not work correctly. There where some broken wires from the transformer coils that I soldered back on and now it does not work correctly. Do you have a schematic for this unit?

Front door button will only ring one time. Side door button will only ring one time. Want front door to ring two times (ding-dong). Don\'t see how to wire it right.

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
