I own a late 60\'s Emerson Rittenhouse Model RC633 door bell Chime.The clock works fine but the door bell doesn\'t.I believe there is a problem with the motor.Can I have this unit repaired and approximately the cost?

We\'ve got an old aprox. 30years old unit. signal fades in and out. Best to try and repair or do you sell new/updated maybe with cd or mp3 imputs? Also need a external outdoor speaker/intercom box. Has the 5 plug cupling. thanks,Paul

The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. The Rittenhouse door intercom answering system system was installed in 1978. It is not functioning well. Do you have a newer replacement for it that would still have the doorbell and intercom system? Does a new unit come with the exterior speaker?

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
