The door chime is not working properly in that some of the hammers are not striking properly. sometimes they reach the tubes and sometimes not. They are all active but not as strong as they should be .I have turned down the adjuster and none strike and when turned up, it is as I have described . The strike eratically

There is a malfunction in the Rittenhouse C8578-1 135-7351-01 door chime, disrupting the production line. Immediate repair is required to resume operations

Need new springs for the hammers. This is an old door bell and it has lasted about 40 years. The new ones are sick. This is the best I have heard and would like to keep it another 40 years.
