Jessica:I have the same model door chime, with the same problem. How did u make out with yours? Do you know any of the history of this chime. From what I can surmise, it was produced after WW2 and that would fit as it was in my parents house when i was born in 1954. I have a friend that is an electrical wizard, hoping he can help out. I\'d be interested in any info you have on yours.

Installed in 1987 when we built the house. Has begun sporadic multiple, single dings, all hours, day and night. I have replaced, back up battery and fuse in motor. Now makes a fairly loud buzzing sound also. Thoughts?

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
