My manual says 4-8 Note Chime Models (534, 535, 552, 577, 618, 633). I don't know which one I have. It has long chime tubes and a clock on top. The door bell works great, but the clock doesn't.

It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. Front door button will only ring one time. Side door button will only ring one time. Want front door to ring two times (ding-dong). Don\'t see how to wire it right.

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
