I have a old intercom in an apartment building that has door locks, buzzer, and voice. the call and voice speaker does not work. all the other apartments are working good. Is there a replacement for the apartment units. or a upgrade?

I have the above model doorbell and really like the sound vs. the new \"electronic sound\" doorbells. Problem is the mechanism inside the doorbell (the part with the two knockers that the wires attach that hit the bells to make the sound) no longer works.
