This unit puts out a chirping sound (Similar to sound of a smoke alarm) on a continuous basis, one chirp about every 30 seconds. Please advise what I should do, short of disconnecting the unit, to stop this annoying sound.Thank you,Richard Baer

Have you ever heard of a response on the Rittenhouse 631/632. I too am refurbishing one and need to know the correct tranformer voltage needed and a wiring diagram surely would help. Any insight?

I have a door bell Model C8229 that started to make a ringing sound. It looks as if the plates are vibrating.

My manual says 4-8 Note Chime Models (534, 535, 552, 577, 618, 633). I don't know which one I have. It has long chime tubes and a clock on top. The door bell works great, but the clock doesn't.

Do you know of anyone in Central or East Central Ohio who can repair a Rittenhouse electric door chime? It has four, short brass tubes and chimes like The Westminister chimes. Thank you.

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
