Front door button will only ring one time. Side door button will only ring one time. Want front door to ring two times (ding-dong). Don\'t see how to wire it right.

This problem may be caused by a lighted doorbell. After the bell is wrung, the light will re-illuminate. I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
