Have Model DS-2 Door Sentry w/ 16v. chime transformer -Rittenhouse #30 or = need local chicagoland technician to trouble-shoot the control box w/ its transformer.-believe transformer is problem.

The Rittenhouse C8578-1 135-7351-01 is a door chime unit that is currently not working. That's the information I have so far.

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
