This unit puts out a chirping sound (Similar to sound of a smoke alarm) on a continuous basis, one chirp about every 30 seconds. Please advise what I should do, short of disconnecting the unit, to stop this annoying sound.Thank you,Richard Baer

Have you ever heard of a response on the Rittenhouse 631/632. I too am refurbishing one and need to know the correct tranformer voltage needed and a wiring diagram surely would help. Any insight?

The reception is pretty poor and weak on the volume. Do your know if there is an transisterized replacement receiver that will fit into the 1970\'s model. Thanks, David......

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
