The rheostat is broken on this unit otherwise the unit is as melodious as it was 40 years ago.The numbers on the rheostat are 1406417 and 135-51 The motor is a Telechron synchronous motor. 118V--16 Model 3151 RPM 3. W. 4.CantI purchase the replacement rheostat and have it shipped to PMB 399 at the above address. if so wat is the cost. I will pay by Visa and send my # before delivery.

Similiar issue, my doorbell kept sticking. So I replaced the sticky button but now my springs inside the bell housing seem to be sprung and unable to move the plunger the full range to ring or retract.
