Max/Min Thermometer | Sybron/Taylor Repair

Dear Sirs:I have a Taylor Sybron Maximum/Minimum Thermometer and ever since I purchased it there has been a 4 degree difference between the current temperature readings on the two sides of ther thermometer. Please note, this is not a difference between the max. and min. readings, but a difference in the current readings on the max. and min. sides.How can I correct this error?Thanks for any help.Chas.
