The weathervane rod bent due to some unknown reason and when I took off the top I noticed the vectical shaft was also worn very bad. Do you sell the whole package that sits on top of the roof? The machine was in for repair back in 12/17/82, bought in Sept of 73. Rough weather up here near Rochester, NY where Taylor Instreuments was born. Thank you,James S. Chatfield

After reading your comments about your sensor, I realized the magnet may be one of the culprits on this issue. Over time moisture accumulates in the magnet and may weaken the field to the induction coil. The induction coil in the Taylor anemometer heads are often weakened by time - temp changes etc.…Purchase or Repair:
