hello the mane gear that makes the chair go up and down is striped out it is a plastis gear on top of the motor that connects to the input shaft what do i need to do to get the gear or have you fix it please resboun thank you and god bless geraldlaws@bellsouth.net

One way to test whether it is your controller or a motor is to switch the plug from the nonfunctioning section (Head, Foot or Bed) into the recepticle for one of the working sections, then use that control button to test the motor itself. Example: If the head does not work but the foot does, unplug the head motor and plug it into the socket for the foot motor. Use the Foot control buttons to raise and lower the head. If the head now works, the problem most likely lies in the controller itself; usually the button itself has failed and the entire controller must be replaced. I am currently looking for a controller myself.

I have a King Koil elect. bed. About year 1981.The wormgear that drives the up and down motion of the bed, has come out of the motor. I can\'t tell what is supposed to keep the end of the wormgear in place in the motor. What I am calling a \"wormgear\" is a long \"geared\" shaft, about 1/2 in in dia…Purchase or Repair: ...I have a King Koil elect. bed. Von Weise drive assy. used on Invcare adj. bed(mod#V07564AS76U) will raise and lower the head but when in the low height position ,3 to 6 inches, the drive appears to slip back a couple of inches.
