I am working an an Invacare lift chair with a Vonweise drive mechanism. When I press the button on the hand control the actuator will run one direction but not the other. I have tried a different hand control (pendant) and I get the same result. When I push the button to go the other direction I hear a buzzing sound and that is it. I contacted Invacare and they will not ship individual parts. They want me to order the entire mechanism for around $350. Can you help?

Switching the wires in hand contoller to raise then switch wires again to lower chair. I believe the switch in the hand controller is bad and needs to be replaced. The motor works ok.
