Von Weise drive assy. used on Invcare adj. bed(mod#V07564AS76U) will raise and lower the head but when in the low height position ,3 to 6 inches, the drive appears to slip back a couple of inches. I have a King Koil elect. bed. About year 1981.The wormgear that drives the up and down motion of the bed, has come out of the motor. I can\'t tell what is supposed to keep the end of the wormgear in place in the motor. What I am calling a \"wormgear\" is a long \"geared\" shaft, about 1/2 in in dia…Purchase or Repair: ...I have a King Koil elect. bed. Example: If the head does not work but the foot does, unplug the head motor and plug it into the socket for the foot motor. Use the Foot control buttons to raise and lower the head. If the head now works, the problem most likely lies in the controller itself; usually the button itself has failed and the entire controller must be replaced. I am currently looking for a controller myself.
