We purchased our present home in 1998. It was custom built in 1983 with many upgrades that were available at that time. Unfortunately since we have lived here the system does not work. I think what we have may be on the large size as far as the measurements of each room speaker and the main system as well. because of this we are afraid we are looking at a major renovation to replace it. Existing model was put in my home maybe late 60\'s, with ivory base unit and 4 ivory receivers plus brass door unit intercom. The radio reception is irregular, fades in and out and there is much static. Sometimes have to jiggle knobs on base unit to tune radio!
