hi I have a m7034 intercome system.The out door speak into box was flooded by our sandy storm.Needs to be replaced.The wiring is good and it would be easy to replace if I had original replacement kit. thank you mike

The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. This problem may be caused by a lighted doorbell. After the bell is wrung, the light will re-illuminate. When that happens it may be drawing just enough power to make the door chimes think that the button was pressed once again.
