i would like to have an updated model the one i have was installed in 1977 it makes noise, drifts off stations all controls are noisey and sound is garbled. can you tell me where to get help.

Was working well until I sanded and painted the kitchen. I took the chimes down to paint, put them back and nothing works. I get voltage coming in but it doesn\'t move anything.

This problem may be caused by a lighted doorbell. After the bell is wrung, the light will re-illuminate. When that happens it may be drawing just enough power to make the door chimes think that the button was pressed once again.
