I have an old rittenhouse 7021 (I think) it is from 1978. It needs a new from cover and the dial to change the stations doesn\'t work. Otherwise it works. Can it be fixed and about how much?

The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. need wiring, replacement parts and pic of the model noted above. front door pushbutton lights, but no response from chime unit. the backdoor is working normal one chime. What may be wrong? the unit has a selector switch to scroll thru various chimes.

I have the above mentioned door chime (Rittenhouse door chime model C8536) that does not work correctly. There where some broken wires from the transformer coils that I soldered back on and now it does not work correctly. Do you have a schematic for this unit?

Need new springs for the hammers. This is an old door bell and it has lasted about 40 years. The new ones are sick. This is the best I have heard and would like to keep it another 40 years.

A Rittenhouse model 312 came with my home. It works but the chimes are not loud enough to heard unless you are in the room where the doorbell is mounted.I would hate to replace it because other than this it is very workable.
