I have a rittenhouse westminister door chime master model 631 and 632 that I removed from my family home when it was being sold. I have everything except the Rittenhouse no. 42 transformer, which is need before the electrician can install it in my home. Do you have this transformer or know where I can get one? I appreciate your help.

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?

The small piston that strikes the chime does not return back to the original position. There is a spring on the piston. It seems like the piston should have a retainer of some sort on the end to hold the spring in place. This unit puts out a chirping sound (Similar to sound of a smoke alarm) on a continuous basis, one chirp about every 30 seconds. Please advise what I should do, short of disconnecting the unit, to stop this annoying sound.Thank you,Richard Baer
