Hello! Do you have any parts for Rittenhouse (Emerson) All Transistor Radio-Intercom System, Model RM-1 (AM radio) or RM-2 (AM/FM radio)? Our system dates from the 1960\'s--still going strong. But I need knobs and especially the instruction manual because I don\'t know how to answer and use the exterior Door station (or for visitors to talk to me). The Rittenhouse door intercom answering system system was installed in 1978. It is not functioning well. Do you have a newer replacement for it that would still have the doorbell and intercom system? Does a new unit come with the exterior speaker?

This problem may be caused by a lighted doorbell. After the bell is wrung, the light will re-illuminate. When that happens it may be drawing just enough power to make the door chimes think that the button was pressed once again. I have gone through the trouble shooting I have 16 volts to the main unit just nothing coming out of main unit. like its acting as if there is no voltage. will not power up, no intercom, no radio is it replacement time or can this be repaired relatively cheap?

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
