Rittenhouse Service & Repair Forum
I recently moved into a house that has the Rittenhouse All Transistor RCM-1 system in every room. It\'s obvious this system has not worked in a few years, but I want to repair it and keep it with the time of the home. A newer system would take away from it\'s appeal. Is there anyone in the Tulsa, OK area that could help me?Thank you,Candy Cicoria

Bell is connected to two doors. The front door works fine. The rear door won't ring at all. Can't tell what might be disconnected. Any ideas would be a big help. Thanks.Ken Bentham

A Rittenhouse model 312 came with my home. It works but the chimes are not loud enough to heard unless you are in the room where the doorbell is mounted.I would hate to replace it because other than this it is very workable.

we have an old set of chimes which were taken from our hallway after a fire, now they require repair, model number is not visible, however, it is a four long pole, with 4 or 8 note feature.would love to repair this

I have the above mentioned door chime (Rittenhouse door chime model C8536) that does not work correctly. There where some broken wires from the transformer coils that I soldered back on and now it does not work correctly. Do you have a schematic for this unit?

Was working well until I sanded and painted the kitchen. I took the chimes down to paint, put them back and nothing works. I get voltage coming in but it doesn\'t move anything.

I get typically one of three chimes to sound when the doorbell is rung, occassionally 2 followed by a buzzing sound. Some of the wires were loose and I tightened them, but still don\'t get all the tones. Any ideas on what to do to get all three chimes to ring?
