Hi, I acquired (2) old Mutoh IP530 pen plotters from about 1990 or so. Iplan on using 3 of the stepper motors and one of the drive boards for aCNC router table. I need to somehow eliminate the on-board plotter CPU.is there a way I can wire the drive board directly to my parallel porton my computer without going through the CPU board? if so, I cancontrol the motors with off-the-shelf CNC software. I appreciate anyinfo you can offer. wiring diagrams, specs, technical info etc.Here are the numbers from the drive board:DATE 90/12/26REV. We recently installed a new print head on our Mutoh Valujet 1304 and I think the tech shorted out the network port on the motherboard (nothing I can prove). I am having power issues with my Mutoh VJ-1204 printer.I sent a print to the machine yesterday which caused the printer to failed mysteriously with an error code in the display, however I was unable to capture the error code displayed before cycling the machine. I cycled the machine and now only the data processing light comes on with no power (green) light and nothing in the display telling me what the error is.Today I removed the back panel and noticed the Heater Control Board (DE-36761A) has a blinking red light on LD2. I was recently having my Mutoh printer transported when it tipped over in the truck and it slammed down directly on the ink cartridge slot assembly.
